We are seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to join our team at the Center for Innovation (C4i) at the University of California, Law San Francisco (UC Law SF). The successful candidate will support the Center's research and work closely with Professor Robin Feldman.
Key Responsibilities- Research and Writing: Draft and edit academic papers, congressional and regulatory testimony, and reports for funders and the broader legal community.
- Research Planning: Design and implement research plans to support the Center's goals.
- Communication: Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including press, government contacts, and others.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and prepare reports on research findings.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, with experience using and understanding data sets and statistical results.
- Skills: Experience with databases such as Westlaw and Lexis, basic understanding of standard analysis software such as Microsoft Excel, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
