Shift Details:

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2 pm - 10:00 pm (+6% shift differential)

$500 SIGN-ON BONUS AFTER THE FIRST 6 MONTHS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the general guidance of the Team Manager, the Logistics Operations Specialist will be responsible for:
  • Efficiently picking, packing, and staging customer orders using an RF scanner and VMC (vehicle-mounted computer) while operating material handling equipment.
  • Utilizing various industrial machinery, including motorized pallet jacks, wrappers, and other equipment as required by operational needs.
  • Employing a computerized inventory management system and documenting safety, quality, and performance metrics as required.
  • Performing general warehouse tasks, including sanitation, training, and audits beyond core operations.
  • Participating in team meetings, startup meetings, and special projects as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong clerical and numerical abilities, with the capacity to read, interpret, and adhere to complex procedures.
  • Willingness to learn to operate various equipment, including motorized pallet jacks and battery charging systems.
  • Ability to work in an environment where performance is consistently evaluated against specific standards.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime frequently or on short notice, including weekends and holidays.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds or more consistently.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in executing the SAP inventory program in accordance with McCormick job aids.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions from leadership.
  • Basic computer skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience with Power Industrial Equipment (PIT), including motorized pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts.
  • Understanding of problem-solving techniques; familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in order selection, warehousing, or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems.
