As a Driver Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Directly supervising a team of 30-40 drivers to guarantee exceptional customer service and safety standards.
  • Building strong relationships with your team through integrity and accountability.
  • Dispatching drivers and freight in accordance with company policy and federal regulations.
  • Conducting regular coaching sessions on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to include safety, performance, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborating with planners to rework freight and manage change communication.
  • Responding to internal and external customer needs by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Coaching your team to success and safety compliance.
  • Thinking critically in a dynamic industry.
  • Driving team retention and satisfaction.
  • Partnering with drivers, planners, and customer service to meet customer and service expectations.
  • Approving driver pay and driver bill of lading (BOL) submissions.
  • Providing solutions to driver needs and issues.
