Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator II to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Broadway Primary Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for patients.
  • Patient Support: Provide support and information to providers to problem-solve and manage complex administrative patient issues.
  • Billing and Insurance: Perform daily management of billing through EPIC and understand all HMO, Managed Care, and other Third Party Insurers.
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule patient appointments, create referral shells, and coordinate, track, and decrement referral appointments as needed.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Maintain inventory and order supplies as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • Experience: Administrative experience (preferably in a Healthcare setting) required.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, flexibility to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of computer skills necessary to use appropriate modules of EPIC, electronic medical record modules, US Bank, and Microsoft Outlook.
