Customer Service Representative II

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative II to join our Contact Center team at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support through various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments with patients and providers
- Document clear and concise messages and route them to the appropriate departments
- Transfer calls to other departments when required
- Navigate and document in the Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) to access relevant information
- Process refill requests accurately and effectively, according to guidelines
- Conduct outreach calls on behalf of clinical departments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1-year customer service, administrative, or call center experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Judgment and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with electronic medical record technology a plus
