Customer Service Representative II

East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative II to join our team. As a key member of our Contact Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments with patients and families.
  • Document clear and concise messages and route them to the appropriate clinical department.
  • Transfer calls to other departments as needed.
  • Navigate and document in the Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) to access relevant information.
  • Process refill requests accurately and effectively.
  • Conduct outreach calls on behalf of clinical departments.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service, administrative, or call center experience.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with electronic medical record technology a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
