Visual Communication Specialist

Position Overview
As a Visual Communication Specialist at Martignetti, you will be responsible for crafting and designing point-of-sale graphics and layouts tailored for our suppliers, clients, and corporate headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative designs, concepts, and sample layouts utilizing your expertise in layout principles and aesthetic design.
  • Create and produce charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artistic works using graphic design software and various mediums, including PC hardware and software tools such as Corel Draw, Sign Lab, and Photoshop.
  • Prepare final layouts for printing by assembling and refining designs.
  • Evaluate final layouts and propose enhancements as necessary.
  • Participate in and/or execute special events and promotional activities as required.
  • Ensure adherence to legal guidelines, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the POS Storage Area.
  • Support other departments or projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capacity to focus and work efficiently in a dynamic office environment.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical capability to lift 30 lbs. or more.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in graphic design and sign production is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with sign-making software (PC Corel Draw Design, Sign Lab, etc.) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of sign-making equipment (vinyl cutter, printers, etc.).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate various projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal liquor regulations.
  • Ability to fulfill the physical demands of the role.
