Injection Molding Process Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Process Engineer to join our team at Rosti Group, where you will play a crucial role in establishing robust injection molding processes on initial tool sampling, as well as continual process development on existing production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient injection molding processes for new tooling, ensuring high-quality products and minimal waste.
  • Lead the cycle time reduction program, analyzing and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Document all processes and sample findings, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Troubleshoot existing production issues, applying problem-solving skills to drive robust solutions and minimize downtime.
  • Participate in Mold design reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets production requirements.
  • Set up and prepare work cells for sample tooling, ensuring a smooth transition to production.
  • Analyze problems with new tooling start-up, proposing solutions to improve process efficiency and product quality.
  • Research and implement new technologies for manufacturing, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Perform Design of Experiments (DOE's) to optimize process parameters and improve product quality.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in injection molding process development, with a strong understanding of process optimization and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with Quality Systems and industry software, including Microsoft programs.
  • Working knowledge of scientific molding principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of RJG is a plus, but not required.
