Accounts Representative for ILR Technology Services

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Representative to join our team at the ILR School on the campus of Cornell University. As an Accounts Representative, you will provide administrative, fiscal, and technical support for the ILR Technology Services and Administrative Applications function.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to faculty and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings, events, and travel, including scheduling, catering, and accommodations.
- Assist with the collection, preparation, and management of financial data, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and university departments.
- Stay up-to-date with technology trends and best practices, providing recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree and two to four years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience in database management and financial software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Minimum five years of experience in an office setting, preferably in a university or academic environment.
- Knowledge of Cornell University's financial systems, including KFS, Capital Asset Tracking, and eShop.
- Experience with HTML or other web development tools, with a strong understanding of web design principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
