About the Position:

Wells Fargo is on the lookout for an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering relationships through proactive outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences by building relationships and recommending suitable products, services, and digital solutions to assist customers in achieving their financial goals.
  • Support customers with fundamental inquiries regarding account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
  • Follow guidance from management while exercising judgment within established policies and procedures.
  • Gain insights into banking products and services to align with customer needs.
  • Engage with customers to demonstrate genuine care and build lasting relationships.
  • Provide tailored options for banking products and services.
  • Refer customers to other bankers and partners based on their financial needs.
  • This SAFE position involves customer interaction and responsibilities that may include offering and negotiating terms for secured transactions, necessitating compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months of experience in customer interaction, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service skills with experience managing complex transactions across various systems.
  • Proven ability to engage customers proactively through outreach.
  • Capability to educate customers on technology and the benefits of mobile banking.
  • Experience in assisting customers in achieving financial success by connecting them with appropriate team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to meet customer needs.
  • Proficiency in developing and nurturing strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations while maintaining professionalism.
  • Skilled in identifying potential fraud or risky accounts and taking necessary actions to mitigate loss.
  • Proficient in sourcing, acquiring, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Support customers and team members in resolving concerns or complaints.
Job Expectations:
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include weekends.
  • Responsible for cash handling, maintaining a cash drawer, and completing service-related tasks as necessary.
  • This position requires SAFE registration upon employment, with Wells Fargo initiating the registration process immediately after your start date.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
