About the Position:
Wells Fargo is looking for an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and recommending suitable products, services, and digital solutions to help customers achieve financial success.
- Assist clients with essential tasks such as opening new accounts, fulfilling service requests, and processing credit applications.
- Follow guidance from management while exercising judgment within established policies and procedures.
- Gain a thorough understanding of banking products and services to effectively address customer needs.
- Engage with customers to foster care and build lasting relationships.
- Present appropriate banking options and services to clients.
- Refer customers to other banking professionals and partners as necessary.
- This SAFE position involves customer interaction and responsibilities that may include negotiating terms and/or processing applications for secured transactions, necessitating compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
- Minimum of 6 months of customer interaction experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Strong customer service skills with experience managing complex transactions across various systems.
- Proven ability to engage proactively with customers through outreach via phone or email.
- Capability to educate customers about technology and the benefits of mobile banking.
- Ability to assist customers in achieving financial success by connecting them with additional team members as needed.
- Experience collaborating with a team to meet customer needs.
- Proficiency in developing and nurturing strong customer relationships.
- Skill in building effective partnerships with internal colleagues.
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts and take appropriate preventive measures.
- Professional and ethical interaction with customers and team members.
- Expertise in sourcing, acquiring, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Support customers and team members in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that may include Saturdays.
- Responsible for maintaining cash drawer accuracy and handling cash transactions while completing service-related tasks as needed.
- This position requires SAFE registration upon employment, with the registration process initiated immediately after your start date.
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
