Position Overview

The Strategic Business Systems Consultant will collaborate with senior IT Business Relationship Managers and Product Owners, along with essential business functional leaders, to evaluate and consolidate information, comprehend project contexts and deliverables, and execute comprehensive business analysis tasks. This role is pivotal in documenting and overseeing requirements and conducting various analytical activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will also extend project management assistance to the IT team, which includes:

  • Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with regional stakeholders.
  • Writing and validating test scripts/scenarios.
  • Creating Functional Requirements and working on Unity System process workflows.
  • Engaging in additional activities as required.

This position does not involve coding or system configuration.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a business/systems analyst capacity within a matrixed organization.
  • Robust analytical capabilities, with the ability to derive insights from data, manage information, identify trends, and formulate recommendations.
  • 5-7 years of experience in supporting software development using Agile Scrum, Kanban, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in JIRA for drafting requirements (User Stories) and managing backlogs.
  • Capability to plan and execute small to medium-sized projects while managing global stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce (Service Cloud).
  • Expertise in creating dashboards and operational reports, ideally in Salesforce Service, Power BI, or Workbench.
  • Ability to draft UAT test scripts and oversee the completion of business partner testing within established timelines.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a proactive and resourceful approach with a positive attitude.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Life Sciences or Medical validation is preferred.
  • Experience in validating business requirements and achieving stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience in conducting User Acceptance Testing.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to think broadly and strategically while maintaining focus on tactical delivery.
  • Ability to respond swiftly and influence stakeholders to achieve roadmap objectives.
  • Highly organized, focused, and dedicated to achieving goals.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure with tight deadlines across multiple initiatives.
  • Experience in product road mapping is a plus.
