POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to execute and finalize specific project assignments within established timelines and budgets, particularly focusing on Property Condition Assessments as directed by the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in the environmental and engineering consulting arena.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough project research, including historical and regulatory analysis.
  • Engage in effective communication with clients and site representatives.
  • Perform site reconnaissance as required.
  • Compile and organize data efficiently.
  • Author comprehensive reports.
  • Prepare high-quality supporting documentation, including site figures and appendices.
  • Assist the Project Manager with various tasks related to report deliverables.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Complete project tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
  • Conduct relevant project research as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding project progress and challenges.
  • Collaborate with team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and monitor project timelines to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Provide insightful recommendations to the Project Manager and clients.
  • Identify and address project-related issues promptly.
  • Deliver progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage requests for changes in project scope effectively.
  • Communicate report delivery protocols to the Project Coordinator.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering quality results on time.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills.
  • Capability to build and maintain relationships within a team environment.
  • Understanding of building component life cycles and system evaluations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering principles.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a physical science or engineering discipline.
  • Willingness to travel for project assignments; a valid driver's license and personal transportation are necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Visual acuity to perform job functions, including reading printed materials and computer screens.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing.
