Your Role Will Involve:
  • Overseeing construction activities related to engineered fill, concrete, and pavement.
  • Conducting borehole sample collection and documentation.
  • Managing all facets of geotechnical project coordination and client relations.
  • Performing geotechnical evaluations and calculations, including designs for retaining walls, foundations, slope stability, and pavements.
  • Preparing routine correspondence, data reports, and work plans for both internal and client review.
  • Supervising contractors on-site.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
  • 1-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Experience in geotechnical laboratory testing (e.g., Atterberg Limits, proctors, grain size analysis) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in QA/QC construction oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including some overnight trips.
