Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual looking for a challenging role in property management? We are seeking an Operations Associate to join our team at Asian Americans for Equality. In this position, you will be responsible for administrative tasks, maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking purchases, managing accounts payable, and handling accounts receivable.

Job Overview

We offer a competitive salary of $27.48 per hour, plus benefits. Our ideal candidate is someone who can work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome tenants and visitors, direct them to the appropriate department for assistance.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating maintenance and repairs.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail to the appropriate recipients.
  • Perform administrative duties according to company document retention policies.
  • Coordinate utility services for vacant units.
  • Procurement: replenish office supplies, track goods received, allocate inventory, prepare payment requests, and submit invoices.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds with proper safety equipment.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Multitasking ability and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Yardi is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Chinese and/or English/Spanish.
