Our facility is dedicated to fostering innovation and excellence, and we are looking for a committed Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to strengthen our team. This role provides an opportunity to influence safety standards and environmental practices, ensuring we excel in both innovation and workplace safety.

Your Contributions:

  • Design and implement EHS initiatives that align with our vision of achieving top-tier EHS performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and internal safety protocols.
  • Lead projects focused on hazard communication, emergency preparedness, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvement through detailed investigations and analyses to avert future incidents.
  • Participate in comprehensive compliance reporting to various stakeholders, including governmental agencies.

Qualifications

What We Seek:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • A thorough understanding of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Capability to support a three-shift, 24/7 manufacturing operation.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent.
  • Experience with EHS management systems like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Prior involvement in OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus a $10,000 bonus

Work Environment:
