Job Title: Portfolio Manager I-II

City First Bank N.A. is a mission-driven Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) focused on driving equitable economic development in underserved markets.

Job Summary:

The Portfolio Manager will report to the Commercial Underwriting Manager and be responsible for managing the Bank's loan portfolio, including complex lending relationships, underwriting, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze a portfolio of commercial loans, identifying potential problem loans and recommending risk rating changes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage past due financial information and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with the relationship management team, accountants, and third-party guarantors during the monitoring/renewal process.
  • Assist with the identification of revenue opportunities in the portfolio and follow through on routine requests for credit or other bank services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 4-7+ years of commercial credit, financial statement analysis, portfolio management, and customer service experience.
  • Completion of formal or in-house credit training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Uncompromised attention to detail and demonstrated eagerness to problem solve through research and application of experience/knowledge.
  • Experience with commercial, construction, and real estate loan underwriting.
Salary:

$125,200 - $143,980, annually
