Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in implementing corporate policies through the CFI, Inc. Safety and Security Program. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding promptly to incidents involving police, fire, or medical emergencies, acting within the defined scope of a Security Officer.
  • Managing access control at designated entry and exit points.
  • Conducting safety inspections in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of security activities, checklists, and logs.
  • Writing detailed incident reports as necessary, utilizing computer skills and email communication.
  • Addressing basic service requests and performing preventive maintenance on electronic guest room security systems and in-room safes as applicable.
  • Carrying out traffic control and parking enforcement duties as needed.
  • Responding to security-related complaints and taking appropriate actions.
  • Assisting public safety officers in their duties as required.
  • Performing any additional tasks assigned by management within the framework of corporate policies.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to interact attentively and service-oriented with team members and guests.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license for operating company golf carts.
  • Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
