Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field work, including site inspections, sample collection, and environmental assessments.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documents for client use, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Interface with clients at a technical level, leveraging strong communication skills to address concerns, provide updates, and offer expert advice.
  • Develop cost estimates and proposals for environmental projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental studies, or a related field.
  • Possession of Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) or Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST), or ability to sit for and pass the exam within three months of hire.
  • California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Lead certification.
  • Completion of the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training.

The pay range for this California position is $130,000-$150,000 per year, with a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k), and professional development opportunities.
