  • Attractive Compensation: Starting pay is competitive, beginning at $23.57, increasing to $24.48 after six months.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, as our community is our primary focus.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and manage fare transactions.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate our customers' needs.
  • Capability to obtain a Class B CDL with Passenger and Airbrake Endorsement, including:
    • A valid Michigan Driver's license with fewer than 4 points.
    • Willingness to train for the necessary Commercial Driver's License (CDL) endorsements.
    • Compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination requirements, including drug and alcohol testing.
    • Maintaining an excellent driving record.
  • Able to interpret and adhere to run guidelines for assigned routes.
  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
  • The ability to identify and rectify conditions that may affect safety for both employees and customers.
  • Skills to safely secure mobility devices in accordance with FTA regulations for ADA passengers.
