Job Title: Technology Specialist

Join the Bellevue School District team as a Technology Specialist, supporting the district's instructional initiatives by providing technical assistance to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software in assigned schools.
  • Configure and install computers in both standalone and networked environments.
  • Provide first-line technical support for staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain inventory of computers, software, and equipment, and perform annual physical inventory and database updates.
  • Assist with the coordination of school-wide technology initiatives, including the distribution of student laptops.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff and students as needed.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to ensure seamless technology support across the district.
Requirements:
  • High school graduation or equivalent and one year of experience supporting users in the use of computers, peripherals, and software.
  • Knowledge of hardware and peripherals, Microsoft operating systems, and general-purpose software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, and to work independently with self-direction.
Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
