Position Overview
This is a contract role focused on providing support to clients with basic inquiries related to our products. Responsibilities include:
- Responding to calls, voicemails, and emails directed to the EnergyLink support team.
- Ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and delivered in a friendly manner.
- Adhering to internal protocols and escalating user contact information when necessary.
- Maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor while managing client emotions.
- Guiding clients through the application process over the phone.
- Thoroughly understanding client needs before offering solutions.
- Troubleshooting basic client issues effectively.
- Taking ownership of client concerns and proactively addressing them.
- Engaging in cross-training to enhance skills and improve the overall customer experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess a solid theoretical understanding of the role, typically gained through higher education. Work will be closely supervised for complex tasks, while routine situations may require less oversight. Challenges faced may be difficult but are generally not overly complex.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience or training in revenue accounting, land management, JIB, or A/P, along with prior customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and various oil and gas software programs.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Remain seated for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks on a computer.
- Lift up to 35 pounds safely using proper techniques.
- Communicate effectively with others.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work in an office environment as needed.
- Travel as required for company needs.
