Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor Manager to join our team at TRUMPF Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our machine production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Conduct business in a professional and respectful manner, setting high personal standards of job performance and conduct.
  • Process Improvement: Establish, maintain, and improve the production process, including technical and organizational aspects.
  • Supply Chain Management: Establish, expand, and support SYNCHRO and shop floor management in all aspects, conducting and contributing regularly to SFM meetings, and conducting Improvement Kata.
  • Layout and Material Flow: Create layouts and establish material flow throughout the department.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data about the production process, using these measurements to make decisions regarding improvement efforts.
  • Quality Control: Control the quality of products, using the QM system to document problems, responses, and follow-up.
  • Personnel Management: Assign personnel and make operational decisions in a way that optimizes the production process.
  • BOM Inconsistencies: Verify BOM inconsistencies and closely collaborate with the industrial engineering department to resolve them.
  • Test Fixtures: Support the development of test fixtures for assembly components.
  • Communication: Use Microsoft 365 products, including Excel, Sharepoint, Teams, Word, and Outlook, for improved communication.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly/manufacturing, with a good working knowledge of lean supply chain management methods, such as just-in-time and Kanban replenishment.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with parts lists and products, as well as experience with the Metric System, DIN system, and SAP.
  • Skills: Good communication skills (verbal and written), bilingual ability (German and English) a plus, and supervisory experience a plus.
  • Education: 2-year technical degree or combination of education and work experience, with SAP production module experience a plus.
