Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the scheduling of work for crews, equipment, and subcontractors to maximize productivity.
  • Establish and maintain the field office, ensuring project security.
  • Identify potential issues in plans and specifications and communicate with the Project Manager.
  • Ensure accurate project layout and assist in developing project schedules.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings and verify compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain job site documentation and ensure all subcontractors provide proof of insurance.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors, architects, and owners.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • General understanding of various project types and delivery methods.
  • Experience managing projects with a construction value exceeding $2 million.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction schedules.
  • Ability to motivate subcontractors and coordinate construction teams.
  • Familiarity with software programs such as MS Office Suite and job site software.
