Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual with a High School Diploma or GED to join our team as an Avionics Systems Technician. A foundational understanding of relevant regulatory standards and customer requirements is essential. Familiarity with multimeter usage is required. This is an entry-level opportunity, and candidates with six months of accredited training in aviation electronics or relevant electrical experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Under moderate supervision, the technician will assist in the removal and installation of avionics electrical components. The role includes:
1. Assisting in the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and related equipment according to blueprints, worksheets, and engineering specifications.
2. Supporting the completion of tasks within designated timeframes.
3. Maintaining accurate logs and records as required.
4. Adhering to the company's FOD program, tool control protocols, 5-S initiatives, and all safety regulations.

Additional Duties:
1. Properly maintaining and caring for shop equipment and tools as directed by the Supervisor.
2. Performing other assigned responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
1. A Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly is preferred, along with successful completion of a youth apprenticeship program in the relevant field.
2. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
4. Proficiency in computer skills and general software applications is necessary.
