Position Overview:
High School Diploma or GED is mandatory. A foundational understanding of relevant regulatory standards and client specifications is essential. Proficiency in using a multimeter is required. This is an entry-level role. Preferred qualifications include six (6) months of accredited training in aviation electronics or relevant electrical experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Under moderate supervision, the incumbent will assist in the removal and installation of avionics electrical components, including the fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, and conducting functional tests of avionics and electrical systems.

Primary Duties:
1.

Support the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and related equipment, adhering to blueprints, worksheets, and engineering schematics.

2. Aid in completing tasks within designated timeframes. 3. Help maintain necessary logs and documentation. 4. Adhere to the company’s FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety protocols.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Properly maintain and care for shop tools and equipment as directed by the Supervisor. 2. Undertake other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. A Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly is preferred, along with successful completion of a youth apprenticeship program sponsored by HSGI in the relevant field. 2. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams is essential. 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. 4. Basic computer skills and familiarity with general software applications are necessary.
