Job Overview

Entegee is seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician II to join our team. As an Avionics/Electrical Technician II, you will be responsible for the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning systems, and conducting functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Testing: Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Component Repair: Repair or replace defective components using acceptable practices like splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  • Compliance: Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Preferred Skills
  • A&P License: A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license.
  • FCC Certification: FCC certification.
  • NCATT Certification: NCATT certification.
  • System Proficiency: Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations.
Compensation and Benefits

Entegee offers a competitive hourly rate of $25.00 to $29.00 per hour. Our benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
