Aftermarket Parts Specialist

Objective:
Support aftermarket sales by efficiently managing product retrieval, freight shipping, and monitoring order statuses to ensure timely deliveries, collaborating closely with value stream leaders across departments.

Key Responsibilities:


Retrieve products for next-day or same-day shipping as per requests or to adhere to scheduled ship dates.

This task is limited to specific components identified by the aftermarket team based on requirements and available inventory.

Package and box products appropriately (excluding crating) and coordinate with the value stream manager on any necessary crating to meet shipping deadlines.

Generate all necessary shipping documentation or assist the relevant Traffic personnel when required.
Collaborate with the Aftermarket department to resolve any missing shipping information on orders.

Participate in production meetings as needed to inform aftermarket technicians of any order delays affecting schedule compliance.

Conduct physical inventory checks to ensure prompt shipping capabilities. Provide accurate and timely parts quotations for essential components such as shafts, bearings, springs, and motors as assigned by the Aftermarket Sales Manager.

Engage with Manufacturing, Materials, and Logistics teams to facilitate customer requests related to aftermarket and parts sales opportunities.

Investigate archived orders for product specifications necessary for quoting, ordering, and manufacturing requested items. Input orders into the sales order system.

Maintain strong customer relationships by fostering trust through transparent and interactive communication.

Assist TCF outside sales representatives primarily via email and secondarily via phone with scheduling, order updates, expedited requests, shipping details, freight concerns, or other inquiries. Update outside sales representatives on the rework status of returned products and direct customers with inquiries to the appropriate department.

Perform additional duties as assigned while embodying TCF Core Values.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred. 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred. Ability to multitask and switch between various work activities efficiently.

Strong prioritization and time management skills are essential. Excellent organizational abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in standard office software applications and equipment.

Standard office environment. Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds. Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and reach. Willingness to work extended hours while seated at a computer.
