Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Client Portfolio Specialist to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will provide sales, service, and loan support to Relationship Managers and Commercial Credit staff, managing and supporting Commercial client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide sales support to Relationship Managers, including assistance with pipeline accuracy, call preparation, and client contact strategy.
  • Assist with general servicing of Commercial loans, deposits, and fee services, including account opening, report preparation, and payment processing.
  • Support Relationship Managers with portfolio management, ensuring accurate client assignment and account data.
  • Monitor reporting and escalate as needed to ensure timely and accurate resolution of client issues.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners to identify potential client needs and opportunities.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education and related training.
  • Three years of related experience, preferably within financial services.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients and contacts.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to complete core courses outlined in the CCS training curriculum.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree in a related field.
  • Working product knowledge of bank services and Financial Services Industry.
  • Math aptitude with ability to grasp general accounting and financial concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and/or reporting applications.
