Description

Reports To: Front Office ManagerSupervises: N/AJob Purpose: To provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for guests by performing a combination of duties related to check-in and check-out, room assignments, and guest inquiries.Job Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and provide room keys and instructions.
  2. Answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, and local information.
  3. Manage room availability and guest accounts, make reservations, and compute guest bills.
  4. Process payments, post charges, and maintain accurate records.
  5. Sort and distribute mail and messages, and transmit and receive messages using hotel equipment.
  6. Enforce hotel credit policies and maintain accurate cash handling and deposits.
  7. Provide a warm and friendly greeting to guests.
  8. Assist with special requests, such as making reservations or ordering flowers.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills:
  1. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Ability to use personal judgment and specialized knowledge to provide information to guests.
  3. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  4. Accuracy and attention to detail when operating switchboards or computer keyboards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 months of experience in hospitality, general office, accounts receivable, or customer service.
Salary: $15-$16 per hour
