Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Ace Hardware. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and applications, to effectively assist customers with their purchases.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure accurate and efficient product availability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store staff to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing sales environments, including peak sales periods and unexpected customer needs.
