About the Role

The e-commerce sector has experienced remarkable expansion and remains a competitive arena among leading internet companies. TikTok is uniquely positioned to revolutionize the e-commerce experience for our users.

Our goal is to reintroduce discovery, inspiration, and joy into shopping, establishing TikTok as the preferred commerce channel for merchants, creators, and affiliates.

We seek enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our product and operations team, dedicated to developing an innovative, secure, and user-friendly e-commerce ecosystem.

The Customer Business team is tasked with creating an e-commerce environment that is both intuitive and secure for our users.

We are focused on enhancing the shopping experience on TikTok Shop, which includes features such as product browsing, checkout, returns, and refunds.

Additionally, we are developing promotional tools and platforms for merchants and businesses to manage campaigns effectively, achieve optimal results, and gain actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence a global team to ensure collaboration between Product & Technology and Business, Marketing, and Customer Service teams, addressing the needs of buyers, sellers, and third-party developers.
  • Oversee cross-team and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive architectural and integration decisions while coordinating timelines with dependent teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers and engineers to formulate technical solutions, estimate workloads, define milestones, and allocate resources.
  • Monitor progress, resolve dependencies, assess risks, and communicate updates to management and project stakeholders.
  • Motivate and engage project teams to achieve ambitious objectives.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of product management experience with user-facing products, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business challenges into clear objectives and product specifications.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of data.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts into clear, actionable user requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in developing global strategies within marketplaces.
