Your expertise will be vital in shaping the technology landscape, ensuring that our e-commerce systems are architected and developed in accordance with industry best practices and advanced architectural principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Senior Architect, collaborating with technology, product, and business leaders to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Direct and mentor the technology architecture team in defining and executing scalable, secure, and efficient architectural solutions for various omni-channel e-commerce systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into robust architectural frameworks.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance the company's technology ecosystem.
  • Create comprehensive architectural blueprints for e-commerce systems.
  • Advocate for the adoption of microservices and cloud-based architectures to develop scalable, flexible, and cost-effective omni-channel solutions.
  • Lead the development of distributed applications, ensuring seamless integration across different e-commerce systems.
  • Drive the evolution of the e-commerce architecture practice, promoting best practices and modernization in cloud architecture.
  • Utilize your expertise in designing and constructing next-generation e-commerce systems.
  • Leverage your knowledge in event-driven programming and architecture to design real-time, event-driven systems for e-commerce workflows.

• Foster alignment processes with internal and external partners, including other portfolios, Infosec, Enterprise Architecture, and vendor partners.

• Engage with the architecture community on architectural topics for effective communication and dissemination to broader Tech & Engineering teams.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, business stakeholders, and IT operations, to ensure technology solutions align with business needs.
  • Present technical concepts and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build collaborative relationships with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, technical leads, and key individuals across functional groups.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar leadership capacity within the e-commerce sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of software architecture, architectural patterns, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing distributed applications.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in architecting e-commerce distributed applications.
  • Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Essential hands-on experience with E-Commerce systems.
  • Analytical mindset with a history of crafting innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A strong passion for keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in retail and software engineering.
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing effectively.
