We are currently on the lookout for a talented Maintenance Supervisor in Training to support our communities in the Duluth / Buford area.

This role involves hands-on training with a full maintenance team, and candidates must be flexible and open to transferring to other communities for future supervisory opportunities.

In this position, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of a service team, ensuring that all maintenance, inventory, and repairs of the property are executed efficiently. You will also actively participate in maintenance tasks alongside your team.

Your responsibilities will include diagnosing issues and performing repairs in various areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. Additionally, you will assist in scheduling and supervising both in-house and vendor work, sharing on-call duties with your colleagues.

This is a hands-on position where the effective performance of our service team is crucial for maximizing rental income and maintaining high occupancy rates through adherence to professional maintenance practices and quality control. Our service team is driven by customer satisfaction, creating a positive impact on visitors, prospects, and residents alike.

Working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Participation in an emergency on-call rotation is required, with bonuses provided for on-call duties.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of trade-related experience, including at least 1 year in a lead, assistant, or supervisory role in apartment maintenance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification is mandatory (Type I and II or Universal).
  • Proficient computer skills for managing work orders, scheduling, ordering supplies, and email communication.
  • Willingness to share on-call responsibilities with team members.
  • A valid Driver's License, personal transportation, and necessary tools are required.
  • Background checks will be conducted.
