Tesoro Group is in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our esteemed client in the residential sector. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance, particularly in plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC operations. This role requires proficiency in unit turnovers and a solid understanding of general maintenance tasks.
Compensation: $24-$25/hour based on qualifications. This position is structured as a contract-to-hire, transitioning after a specified period.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential on-call responsibilities upon conversion.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare apartments for new residents, which may involve painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance to ensure a quality move-in experience.
- Address resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Demonstrate knowledge in various maintenance functions, including plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, and snow removal when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in common areas, grounds, and amenities.
- Participate in on-call scheduling to manage after-hours emergencies.
- Report maintenance issues in vacant units and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Execute maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Understand and comply with state, local, and federal fair housing regulations.
- Engage in training programs as mandated by the company.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Adhere to company uniform and appearance standards.
- Follow safety protocols and safeguard all company tools and equipment.
- Maintain high productivity through reliable attendance and timely communication regarding any attendance issues.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential maintenance.
- Experience with EPA/Magic Pak systems is preferred.
- CPO certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in unit turnovers is essential.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for potential on-call duties.
- Ability to pass a background check.
