Your Responsibilities:

As a Cage Operations Supervisor, you will foster excellent relationships with guests and fellow team members by delivering service that is friendly, efficient, and responsible. You will thrive in a collaborative environment where team members uplift and support one another through meticulous work and a commitment to completing all necessary tasks.

Keys to Success in this Position:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of cashier experience or one (1) year of Main Bank experience is preferred. Supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs.
  • Ability to recommend, document, and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Provide guidance and oversight in all aspects of Cage operations, including Drop and Count procedures.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate all cage personnel, including Cage Leads, Main Bankers, Booth Cashiers, and Drop/Soft Court Team members.
  • Accountable for counting and reporting the number of bill validator boxes removed from and returned to the soft count room.
  • Responsible for the transportation of bill validator boxes to and from the soft count room.
  • Ensure the accuracy of counting equipment through testing and verification.
  • Maintain accurate records of all currency from bill validator boxes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols regarding the operation of counting equipment, carts, and mechanical mules.
  • Provide support and information to the VGM department.
  • Comply with all NYGC regulations and internal controls of Saratoga Casino Hotel.
  • Monitor, refill, and repair self-redemption units as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Promote exceptional customer relations.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, ranging from 6 to 8 hours.
