**Job Overview**

Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) seeks a highly motivated and skilled Support Services Navigator to join our team in creating a supportive environment for our community.

**About the Role**

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and communities. They will also have a strong understanding of social services and be able to provide educational and personal counseling to participants.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide educational and personal counseling to participants to establish educational and occupational goals
- Conduct weekly support workshops for program participants
- Lead and/or assist new participants in job training or educational programs
- Utilize participants' engagement in program to identify supportive service needs and provide related counseling as required
- Maintain counseling records and record related assessment data

**Requirements**

A minimum of a high school diploma/GED or equivalent is required, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree in education, social work, human services, or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work in a team.
