The Banking Operations Associate I collaborates with various bank personnel, serving as a knowledgeable resource for all deposit operational sectors and aiding in the verification of processes and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as a primary resource for resolving issues related to deposit operations.
  • Utilizes equipment to manage the receipt and transfer of funds.
  • Processes, verifies, and distributes incoming transfers in accordance with established protocols.
  • Balances applications related to deposit general ledgers.
  • Reports necessary backup withholdings as mandated.
  • Handles processing of levies, garnishments, and bankruptcy requests, including all necessary communication, documentation, and reporting.
  • Verifies and rectifies deposit exceptions.
  • Conducts verification for new accounts and file maintenance.
  • Keeps meticulous records of all responsibilities as required.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including the completion of mandatory compliance training.
  • Undertakes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with management and team members.
  • Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment while upholding a professional demeanor.
Education and Experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two years of relevant experience is necessary; experience in banking operations and/or customer service is preferred.
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Other Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the Navigator system and electronic communication tools.
