Purpose and Scope:

The Regional Sales Manager for Contract Management & GPO will develop and implement strategies to drive growth within the contract managed and group purchasing organization channels. This role will collaborate with the Sr. Director of CMC/GPO to create integrated customer business plans that capitalize on opportunities for growth and mitigate existing risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive bid and contract pipeline to deliver results.
  • Represent Pilgrim's as the Subject Matter Expert within the channel, developing relationships with key CMC/GPO accounts and managing brokers.
  • Execute cross-functionally to deliver on assigned volume and financial objectives.
  • Be a customer-centric consultant, engaging in needs-based selling and driving thought leadership from the segment into cross-functional teams.
  • Focus on core products, know competitors, and provide internal feedback to support business growth.

Contract & Pricing Management:

Effectively manage contract negotiations and price/contract revisions to support continued growth on MOG items and improve run-rate for APL items.

Forecast Your Demand:

Understand your run-rate, won/lost business, and coordinate with demand planning and supply chain to ensure demand gets serviced to meet objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5 years of sales experience in CPG Foodservice required.
  • Non-Commercial CMC/GPO experience required; prior poultry experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
