Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Faculty Development Specialist to join our team at West Coast University. As an Instructional Lead for Faculty Training, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering faculty development programs that enhance student learning and academic success in online and blended learning environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Faculty Development Program Design and Delivery: Develop and implement faculty development programs that align with the university's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Instructional Leadership: Provide instructional leadership and support to faculty members in the design and delivery of online and blended courses.
  • Training and Coaching: Plan and deliver training and coaching programs for faculty members to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Needs Assessment and Analysis: Conduct needs assessments and analysis to identify faculty development needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Resource Planning and Management: Plan and manage resources to support faculty development programs, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Develop and implement evaluation metrics to assess the effectiveness of faculty development programs and report on results to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Education, Higher Education Leadership, Distance Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in faculty development, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proven ability to design and deliver faculty development programs, instructional leadership, training and coaching, needs assessment and analysis, resource planning and management, and reporting and evaluation.
