Pacific Oaks College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to provide instruction and support to students in the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts programs in the School of Human Development. The successful candidate will have expertise in teaching and mentoring students in a specific field of human development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Teach graduate and undergraduate students in a specific field of human development
  • Utilize Canvas learning management system to deliver course information, assignments, and feedback
  • Plan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments
  • Grade assignments and assess student performance
  • Collaborate with Faculty Course Leads on course curriculum
  • Advise students on academic success and provide support
  • Stay updated on innovations and changes within the field of human development

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in a related field of human development or education; PhD preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in education or human services settings
  • Exemplary professional experience and expertise in teaching and mentoring
  • Ability to teach at the Pasadena Campus or instructional sites across greater Los Angeles County
  • Knowledge of Canvas learning management system and Zoom teleconferencing tools, a plus
