Job Summary:
As an Aerospace Engineering Data Analyst at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), you will be responsible for characterizing and evaluating tactical missile system performance against complex and emergent threats. This role requires a strong background in aerospace engineering, physics, or computer science with experience analyzing driving factors behind missile system performance or working with aerospace systems.

About the Job:
The Missile Effectiveness Analyst will prepare and present formal documentation to technical specialists, operational partners, and government sponsors. This includes building and leveraging novel data visualization tools for large and complex data sets. A bachelor's degree is required, while a master's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another engineering field
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing driving factors behind missile system performance or working with aerospace systems
  • Strong programming skills with languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++
