Position Overview


We are looking for a Healthcare Content Specialist to enhance our structured content offerings that align with our leading software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include leveraging Symedical software to:

  • Develop and maintain value sets, rule-based logic, ontologies, term mappings, specialized catalogs, and other content resources.
  • Oversee scheduled and on-demand publication processes.
  • Establish, refine, and/or define editorial guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Additional Responsibilities

Depending on your skill set, you may also:
  • Assist clients with implementation and service delivery.
  • Exhibit subject matter expertise and thought leadership through marketing and consultative sales efforts.
  • Engage with clients and prospects, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field: MD, DO, NP, DNP, MSN, RPh, PharmD, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in at least one standard healthcare terminology/coding system (e.g., RxNorm, LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD-10-CM, CPT).
  • Strong analytical skills with a logical reasoning approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Preferred:
  • Experience in applied health IT.
  • Certification or degree in a health informatics-related discipline.
