Job Summary

The HR Operations Manager is a key role within the Human Resources department at Shurtape Technologies, LLC. This position is responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing the HR Operations Team, with a focus on the HR Service Center (HRSC) and HR Information System (HRIS). The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the HRSC and HRIS teams, fostering growth and development within the department.
  • Manage daily departmental operations, including planning and development of HR practices and procedures.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals, and compliant with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements, and laws.
  • Oversee and guide decisions regarding HR inquiries and processes.
  • Manage technical support of HRIS, working closely with Shurtape's IT department and third-party consultants.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or HR-related field required, or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree in a business or HR-related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years' experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or managerial role.
  • SPHR/SHRMCP certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment preferred.
  • Prior experience with UKG time & attendance preferred.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and listening), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be team-oriented and creative.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to exhibit strict confidentiality and work well under pressure when dealing with multiple responsibilities, portraying excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
