Position Overview

We are currently in search of a skilled Professional Land Surveyor to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage survey technicians.
  • Conduct thorough boundary, easement, deed, and title assessments.
  • Perform extensive research at municipal, county, and state levels.
  • Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, and aerial imagery to identify project constraints.
  • Calculate quantities and volumes accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with crew chiefs and the operations team daily.
  • Collaborate with drafting managers and design staff to provide project updates and address challenges.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Ohio; additional state licensure is advantageous.
  • Essential field and office experience in land surveying.
  • A meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proven history of client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience in leading and developing a team.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey; familiarity with Quickbase is a plus.
