About the Role

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Assistant to join our survey field crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing land survey work, operating modern survey equipment, and utilizing surveying software applications to gather and interpret data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform land survey work through the application of surveying principles and practices
  • Operate instrumentation, clear brush, drive stakes, hold chains or rods, record data, and prepare sketches
  • Utilize surveying software applications to gather, retrieve, and interpret important data
  • Perform basic survey computations and maintain equipment as needed
  • Work outdoors under various field conditions, including operating motorized equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum 0-2 years survey experience
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and possess sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors
  • Valid Driver's License
