Key Responsibilities- Evaluate user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.
- Lead design and development initiatives based on system requirements. Assist users in defining requirements, propose alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility assessments.
- Provide technical guidance for integrating requirements, design, and technology. Ensure new plans, designs, and systems are incorporated into ongoing operations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Develop system architecture and design documentation.
- Facilitate system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Engage with government representatives regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated challenges.
- Maintain ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables related to the Systems Engineering domain.
- Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
- Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
- Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph required
- Experience: A minimum of twenty (20) years in Systems Engineering for programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Leadership: Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience Substitution: Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Senior Linux scripting, Linux, servers, Red Hat 8/9.
