Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing vacuum cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures, and furnishings.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Sanitizing restroom facilities and restocking supplies.
  • Dusting and cleaning venetian blinds.
  • Spot cleaning walls to remove marks and stains.
  • Ensuring patient bedside equipment is clean and sanitized.
  • Making beds and changing linens as required.
  • Transporting waste materials to designated areas.
  • Reporting maintenance needs and issues promptly.
  • Cleaning floors and stairways, including mopping and sweeping.
  • Managing inventory of cleaning supplies as per guidelines.
  • Opening and securing buildings or specific areas.
  • Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment.
  • Handling soiled linens and ensuring proper sanitation.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • A positive demeanor and strong customer service skills.
  • The ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
  • No restrictions on lifting capabilities.
  • Comfort working in a healthcare environment with patients.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage stress effectively.
