Job Overview:
As a Starbucks Team Leader, you will support the Director of Outlets and Starbucks Lead in managing store operations during your scheduled shifts. In this leadership role, you will guide team members and assign tasks to deliver the Starbucks Experience to our customers, ensuring legendary service, high-quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Uphold integrity, honesty, and knowledge that reflect the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
2. Maintain composure during peak times or unexpected events to ensure smooth operations and set a positive example for the team.
3. Anticipate customer and store needs by continuously assessing the environment and customer cues.
4. Relay information to management to facilitate a welcoming atmosphere during each shift.
5. Assist in training new team members by positively reinforcing successful performance and providing respectful coaching as necessary.
6. Foster a positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to management.
7. Create a supportive learning environment by offering clear, timely, and respectful feedback to team members to enhance operational excellence.
8. Deliver exceptional customer service by prioritizing customer needs and establishing connections.
9. Build positive relationships with team members by understanding and addressing their individual motivations and concerns.
10. Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, organizing opening and closing duties as assigned.
11. Adhere to operational policies and procedures, including cash handling safety and security protocols, to ensure partner safety during shifts.
12. Follow cash management policies and ensure compliance among team members.
13. Monitor baristas throughout the shift to guarantee outstanding customer service.
14. Uphold attendance and punctuality standards set by Omni Hotels & Resorts.
15. Maintain Moments of Service standards and adhere to uniform and appearance guidelines.
16. Consistently provide quality beverages and food products by following recipe and presentation standards while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
17. Participate in all monthly store meetings and training sessions.
18. Acknowledge and celebrate individual and team achievements using Omni Service Champion (OSC) cards.
19. Embrace Starbucks' commitment to environmental responsibility through sustainable practices.

Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead and direct the work of others.
- Quick learner with effective oral communication skills.
- Previous cash handling experience is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of the retail environment.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must reside in the central Indiana area.
