Job Summary

The Client Services Associate plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, cost-efficient, and culturally sensitive services to our community members. This position is responsible for assisting with the delivery of WIC services at a CCI-WIC Center site, ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and local agency policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Scheduling: Collects internal and external referrals, schedules appointments, and transfers according to established scheduling policies.
  • Phone Support: Answers the telephone promptly, refers calls to the appropriate area, and identifies and refers to urgent calls correctly. Accurately communicates phone messages, as needed.
  • Nutrition and Outreach: Participates in nutrition class activities and outreach activities as directed.
  • Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Accurately performs daily data entry and performs computer record file maintenance and updates in a timely manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintains computers, printers, and other office equipment.
  • Client Support: Provides complete information on the certifying process, solicits and addresses participants' questions, and provides correct information on WIC foods and vendors.
  • Certification and Training: Current CPR certification is required.
Requirements
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: Experience in health or human service delivery providing client information, referral services, or performing eligibility determination, intake procedures, or client screening is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to greet participants over the phone and direct them accordingly.
  • Customer Service: Ability to maintain a high standard of customer service and observance of corporation protocol in a hectic and sometimes hostile situation.
